The Michigan Business Directory is now
integrated with Google's Friend Connect
Google's Friend Connect's has been integrated with the
Michigan Business Directory to support efforts to create
an open social web. Using open standards, Friend Connect
makes it simple for people to instantly interact with one
another on The Michigan Business Directory. This gives
each visitor or member:
- the ability to rate other members and companies
on the directory
- the ability to connect with other business owners
- the ability to manage their online
reputation
- the ability to invite business contacts and
friends into discussions & interactions
Because we allow our visitors to connect with
companies, (as well as the company owners and contacts
listed in the directory)- companies need to create a
separate Friend
Connect login. Once you do this, remember to put
a comment and rating about your own company and other
companies that you have done business with.
Remember, you will have two logins if you choose to
join Google Friend Connect.
- One to update and manage your listing. (the standard
one)
- Another one to rate companies and interact.
