GregRobert Enterprises Launches Free Shipping with "Double Dip- Free Ship"- CLICK HERE!

November, 8, 2009

Two weeks is a charm. That's what GregRobert (parent company of a number of popular online retail stores including http://www.grpet.com/ and http://www.backyardstyle.com/) thinks. Two weeks earlier than last year, GregRobert has rolled out their best Free Shipping deal of the year - a full 14 days earlier than 2008's Free Shipping launch.
Shown to the right the Retro Birdhouse collection at BackyardStyle.com makes great gifts.

Using coupon code: freeship, visitors can take advantage of free shipping at each of GregRobert's stores. At the same time, GregRobert has expanded quantity discounts to include each and every product in stock. Dubbed "Double Dip Free Ship", early indicators show that the combination of offers will be a success this holiday season.

In a phased launch, GregRobert Pet Supplies was the first store to quietly roll out "Double Dip, Free Ship" on Friday, November 6th. http://www.farmgeneral.com/ and BackyardStyle.com were launched on Saturday and finally free shipping at RachelsRobin and RabbitMart.com occurred on or about noon today.

We were able to speak with Ray Joyce, CEO of GregRobert earlier today for a short interview:

The Michigan Business Directory: "Why did GregRobert choose such aggressive discounts so early in the season this year?"
Ray Joyce: "In a year where every penny counts, many people will start their holiday shopping online to find deals, search customer reviews to select products, and get gift ideas. We want to make sure that shipping costs do not deter them from buying online at any of our stores"

The Michigan Business Directory: "Any early indications regarding how your offers are being accepted?"
Ray Joyce: "48 hours after the launch of Double Dip-Free Ship at http://www.grpet.com/, we can confidently say that a quantifiable increase in sales has occurred."

The Michigan Business Directory: "How is GregRobert Enterprises able to offer quantity percents off and free shipping at the same time?"
Ray Joyce: "We have spent the last four months streamlining our operations and working with vendors to lower prices. We are ready to share this with our customers. There is no other way to lower prices and offer free shipping in this economy - cut out everything you possibly can."

Before hopping in the car to wander endlessly through strip malls and big-box stores - be sure to visit http://www.farmgeneral.com/ or http://www.backyardstyle.com/ or http://www.grpet.com/ to choose from over 20,000 products that can be shipped to you for free and at a discount to boot!

Coupon Code is: freeship (restrictions apply - see each website for details)

Happy Easter to Michigan!- CLICK HERE!

The Rebirth of Michigan- A triple tube bird feeder to attract birds
Let this be the rising of our state of Michigan beyond the economic woes to celebrate rebirth, spring and "the beginning" of a new dawn.

Easter is primarily a celebration of the Resurrection - but there is a history to the holiday. Back before our time, people used to celebrate when Spring arrived. Many of us still look at Easter as the "true" beginning of Spring. A time to start our gardens.

People used to believe that changes in seasons were guided by spirits or gods. The blooming of plants and flowers and the critters and animals coming out of hibernation brought back life.
In addition the return of birds brought life , hope and beauty back to the area. This new life in spring symbolizes the new life Christians believe that they gain because of Jesus's death on the cross on Good Friday and his resurrection or back to life on Easter Sunday.

Whatever you believe in, take time to celebrate the beautiful sunshine today and all you have. Take this day to rid your mind of any negative thoughts about what you do not have.

Happy Easter...

Happy New Beginning...

and Happy Spring...

Happy Thanksgiving from the Michigan Business Directory- CLICK HERE!

In lieu of the economic times here in Michigan:

Life is definitely like a roller coaster ride.

Many curves, climbing upscale, many downhill roller thrills, and many hold on for your life experiences. Lets face it, when the ride is over, it definitely was the ride of your life.

In this ride if your life, there are no choices. We have to get on, hold on, and try to enjoy it every curve, bend, dip, climb, and downhill slide all the way. Our attitude makes all the difference. When we exit this ride of life, we have experienced complete joy and complete misery.

Why waste precious time living with negativity rather than a positive attitude?
Lift up your chin, GIVE THANKS, remember the good in your life and try not to focus on the bad. Remember the rain and storms of life only last for a moment. Afterwards, the sun shines, the rainbow appears, and things that you hoped and dreamed for eventually shine their face upon you like the rays of the sun. Hold on, the weather changes.

Don't pack up your bags and quit. Things in your life will begin to shift for the better; so, GIVE THANKS.

Keep your eyes upon the finish line. Look ahead. Great times are coming again! If you are in a time or "season" of your life that seems like the boat is going to tip over; or if your in that ecstatic place in your life, enjoy it because you know that eventually rain comes again.

The great times are times of retreat, renewal, and refreshing. Once the rain comes, you will want to look back and remember "when life was in the palm of your hands". It keeps your eyes off your situation and looking to the future for more sunny days.

In this Thanksgiving season, do something you may have never done before.

Look outside your box, and try to be a blessing to someone else. Maybe, it's just by your attitude or extending a kind expression to another individual. Do something different. They say, if your doing the same thing over and over and getting the same results, change it up. Get out of your box, get into someone else's shoes, and smile the whole way there.

Somewhere along the line, your spirits will light up brighter than a Christmas Tree.

Happy Thanksgiving to eveyone in Michigan!

Mother-In-Law's Day Gifts at Snaptotes- CLICK HERE!

Mother-In-Law's Day is always the 4th Sunday in October

I am going to be ready this year. As much as we love our Mom in Law's - I think they are sometimes difficult to buy for. Difficult, universally - whether you are male or female.

If you have children - I have a great idea for you. Check out Snap Totes.

http://www.michiganbusiness.us/showcompany.php?id=13268

Snaptotes has a variety of custom gifts that may be just the answer.

"SnapTotes is not just about memories; it's not just about what's in your heart... It's about carrying and sharing memories of those people and places that are important to you, your loved ones and friends."

Basically, Snap Totes allows you to create a handbag, purse or diaper bag with the picture of anything or anyone you want.

I think that this is pretty nifty. I think that Grandma would LOVE to go to the beach with a bag that has the image of thier beloved on it.

The bags come in many sizes, beach bags, purses, clutch bags and more. They even have an entire section devoted to getting your doggie's or kitty's picture on a bag.

A must see idea. They might be a bit pricy .. but not too bad.

Hickory Farms Coupons- CLICK HERE!

It's time to start thinking about corporate gift giving.

Over the next month or so, I am going to put a bit of emphasis on corporate and personal gift giving. It's very hard to find the perfect gift for everyone as we near the holidays - and I know what a few good suggestions can do for someone's time.

Start looking for your larger gifts now (like Watches and Jewelry)

Personalized Swiss Watches are always a hit.

For some people gifts for the boss, clients and coworkers are the hardest.

Here's a pile of tips and suggestions.

Consider food gifts. About half of those surveyed in an American Express corporate gift-giving survey give food-related gifts to clients and subordinates.

But be creative about the Food Gifts if you can. If you're from Wisconsin, send some sausage and cheese from Hickory Farms. New England dwellers might want to send Live Lobsters to co-workers in the midwest or west coast.

If you're unsure of the gift-giving policy or etiquette, definitely ask around the office.

You don't want to be in a position where you set new trends unilaterally--and you equally don't want to come off like a grinch
