Happy Easter to Michigan!- CLICK HERE!

The Rebirth of Michigan- A triple tube bird feeder to attract birds
Let this be the rising of our state of Michigan beyond the economic woes to celebrate rebirth, spring and "the beginning" of a new dawn.

Easter is primarily a celebration of the Resurrection - but there is a history to the holiday. Back before our time, people used to celebrate when Spring arrived. Many of us still look at Easter as the "true" beginning of Spring. A time to start our gardens.

People used to believe that changes in seasons were guided by spirits or gods. The blooming of plants and flowers and the critters and animals coming out of hibernation brought back life.
In addition the return of birds brought life , hope and beauty back to the area. This new life in spring symbolizes the new life Christians believe that they gain because of Jesus's death on the cross on Good Friday and his resurrection or back to life on Easter Sunday.

Whatever you believe in, take time to celebrate the beautiful sunshine today and all you have. Take this day to rid your mind of any negative thoughts about what you do not have.

Happy Easter...

Happy New Beginning...

and Happy Spring...

Caring for your new Rabbit and HAPPY EASTER!- CLICK HERE!

When I was about 10 years old, I got a little bunny rabbit for Easter and didn't have a clue on how to care for it. I figured some carrots from the kitchen and all would be fine.

Here are some tips to help you care for your new Easter Rabbit:

Bunnies are very clean pets and do not need baths unless they are having bathroom problems or prone to getting poop stuck on thier rear ends. If you do need to bathe your bunny, use water only or a gentle rabbit or kitten shampoo like Bunny Bath Shampoo 6oz.
Don’t stick your rabbit completely in water – bathe only the dirty area. Towel-dry your rabbit and don't forget to give him or her a rabbit treat.

A rabbit’s nails can grow to be very long and sharp, and can be uncomfortable for the rabbit (and even you too). You can clip the nails with a guillotine-type nail clipper, the type made for cats and birds, available from any pet supply store. RabbitMart carries these also.
Wrapping the bunny in a towel may help to calm her and prevent injury to you or the bunny from kicking. Bunnies may kick when scared.

Vitakraft Carrot Drops for Rabbits are a perfect treat for your rabbit. These wholesome and tasty treats are a nutritious and satisfying way to reward your new Easter bunny.
They're made from milk and specially selected vegetables and molded into fun drop-shaped morsels that are a perfect fit for your rabbit's small mouth. Perfect daily treat especially while you are trying to train your new bunny.
Finally - the Rabbit Food of choice is: Encore Premium Rabbit Food Encore is a highly nutritious food with a few fun shapes and colors thrown in with the tastes your rabbit craves.
Fortified with vitamins and minerals and all the things your new Easter Bunny needs to grow and thrive in it's new environment.
Happy Easter!!!
