If you are not a hunter, the jaw-dropping amazement of this will escape you.Horton man kills 24-point deer A Horton man killed a 24-point deer with a bow late Wednesday in Summit Township. He tracked it down by early today, then retrieved it with a friend by midday. It appears to be the largest buck killed in Jackson County this year. The 24 points are three times the average number of tines on mature bucks. Whether it sets a record depends on an official scoring. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
