A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to visit Grand Rapids for the weekend. Because of my kid's sporting events, our family stays out in the Grand Rapids area about eight times per year. I have always enjoyed our stays, because Grand Rapids is one of the friendliest cities that I know of .. but this particular visit was especially nice.

For the price that I paid (and I didn't get any special deals) ... I felt that we got an unbelievable value. I also wanted to mention that noone asked me to write a review .. I was just impressed.

Besides being luxurious and comfortable, I was very impressed with the fitness room. For me, the fitness room of a hotel can make or break the visit and determine if I will stay at that hotel again. The Hilton fitness room was a step above the rest. Each of the VERY modern ellipticals and treadmills feature a personal TV.

Also, the equipment was new and NOT crappy like the equipment in most hotels.
