Since I do alot of work on large graphics files and have over 100 websites on my hard drive - my biggest beef with Norton was that it took SO long to scan my disk. Not so with Norton 360. They have enhanced the performance including faster scans and browse speeds, faster start-up times and more.

The Norton 360 now has online backup. It provides for new backup destinations including HD-DVD and Blu-Ray disc and iPods, while continuing to support the widest range of mapped and networked storage drives. Included with purchase is 2GB of online storage. This feature will compete with products like

• ElephantDrive
• Box.net Online Storage

For you Firefox users, Norton 360 has Phishing Protection for Firefox. Phishing Protection guards online attempts to steal your personal information using real-time analytics to identify and block fraudulent web sites, and now supports both the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.

It is going to be interesting to see how McAffee AntiVirus, WhiteCanyon and ESET NOD32 are going to respond to Norton's launch.
