The economy is tough all over Michigan but especially in Southeast Michigan. The automotive ripple effect is in full swing and everyone I know is looking for ways to trim the budget and cut costs. I am no exception.

Yesterday (Wednesday) the Federal Reserve's Open Market Committee made the decision to lower interest rates a quarter point to 4.5%. This is great news if you are looking to refinance your home.
