Decorating Tips from American Blinds, Wallpaper & More- CLICK HERE!

American Wallpaper & Blinds came out with a new series on decorating - The Decorating Tip Series and I took a look at it today. In summary - here are the Decorating pointers:

Tip #6 Bold Color - Color is Back!
Today's design incorporates embellishments like embroidery, sequins, beading and tassels to fashion even greater visual interest and really make your decor pop!

Tip#5 - Energy - Honeycomb Cellular
Save on energy costs this season with American Blinds Coupons and American Blinds Honeycomb Cellular Shades. The honeycomb design insulates windows helping to maintain a room's temperature.

Tip #4 - Privacy - Top Down/Bottom Up
Let light in above while keeping privacy below by adding the top down / bottom up feature to your Honeycomb Cellular Shades

Tip #3 Metallic
Colchester Curtains - Metallics are the top trend of the season. Mix with warm neutrals and earth tones to create a shimmering look that pops for Fall and Winter.

Tip #2 - Energy - Thermal Curtains
Add style and energy efficiency to your windows this season with Thermal Curtains. They help block out light while providing insulation to maintain a rooms temperature.

Tip #1 Privacy - Black Out Liner
Add extra privacy and room darkening ability to your existing drapery panels by adding American Wallpaper Coupons & Blinds Black Out Drapery Lin'er.

What I thought even nicer on the Decorate Today website was the resource pages. Not only were there step by step directions in PDF format, there were also VIDEOS that described how to do things like "Hang Blinds":

"Make sure you know what kind of surface you’re mounting your blinds on. Wood screws are standard in blind installation packets. For other surfaces, you’ll need to purchase special screws, fasteners, or anchors."

Once again, American Wallpaper and Blinds (a Michigan company) gets my 2 thumbs up!
